Segmentation
Medical image segmentation separates structures of interests from the background and from each other. It plays an important role in diseases pattern recognition for further diagnosis, prognosis, follow-up monitor, and treatment. By formulating the image segmentation as a classification problem of voxels with semantic labels, we focus on the development of novel deep learning techniques to classify the label of each voxel for entire images.
