It is a very challenging task to bring data from multimodal MR images (e.g., structural, functional, and diffusion) together into a cohesive framework to enable cross-subject comparisons and multi-modal analysis. Such framework usually begins with the image pre-processing to reduce noise, technical variability, bias and batch effects. Furthermore, post-processing of advanced MRI data (e.g., function and structural connectome, fractional anisotropy) enables mechanism understanding of subtle pathological alterations of tissues.
