Dr. Hong is a neuroscientist and is committed to finding new ways to better understand dysfunctions of the human brain and behavior. As a clinical practitioner, Dr. Hong's research aims to improve clinical perspectives and treatment options for a variety of neuropsychiatric disorders, including but not limited to neuroplasticity and neurodevelopment during childhood, after brain injury, and during aging. She uses multi-modality neuroimaging techniques for her research, including MRI/fMRI, diffusion tensor imaging (DTI), and magnetoencephalography (MEG).
